Community Mural Project
In February of 2021, members of our area were invited to sign out painting kits for a community mural project. Each kit included a handful of wooden circles, paint, and brushes. Families from our catchment area in this community project.
Before
GPAC was awarded a grant in 2020 to beautify the back fence. This grant money enabled us to work with local artist Justin Petkau to design a community mural. This mural utilized 1400 individually painted wooden circles.
After
This community mural is a great backdrop for fun photos and those who painted a circle are invited to come and find theirs on the fence.
